A workplace for people who work.
SCALE is a coworking space for freelancers, small teams, and anyone tired of working from the kitchen table. We’ve created a space for different kinds of people, work, and ways of working. And because good work is rarely done alone, SCALE is also a collaborative community where people can connect.
We are located in the New Orleans warehouse district on the second floor of the Taylor Education Building. We’re just around the corner from Harmony Circle (yes, even circles can have corners) and across the street from the WW2 Museum. The New Orleans Convention Center and the St. Charles streetcar line are just a short walk away.
SCALE Ethos
What is our
90:10 approach?
We believe everyone plays a part in creating a better workplace. When we say 90:10, we mean that we will handle 90% of what keeps things running, but you still have to put your dishes away. It’s a shared responsibility that empowers our members and builds a stronger community!
Our Team
Hi, we’re here
to help!
Lyle LeBlanc is the owner & steward of SCALE. He is both everywhere and nowhere all at once. Appearing when needed, Lyle is passionate about the space and its expansion beyond its four walls (there are way more than 4 of them).
Johanna Ziegler is SCALE’s Community Manager. In this role, she keeps the workspace running smoothly and organizes our delicious member lunches each month. You can find her at the front desk or working on her next novel!
Our Location
We actually
work here
SCALE is located on the second floor of the Taylor Education Building. It’s just around the corner from Harmony Circle, across the street from the WW2 Museum. Its confusing, we know.
